OFC200 / OFC300 / OFC400 Zinc Alloy F.R.L.Combination Air Filter, Regulator & Lubricator

The Filter, Regulator, and Lubricator (FRL) forms an advanced three - element system. The filter section is precisely designed to effectively remove most of the liquid and solid contaminants from the compressed air source. This action guarantees a purer and more stable air flow, enhancing the overall quality and reliability of the air supply.

    Installation and Operating

    1. Preparation

The configuration and assembly of all calibration components must be in strict accordance with the maximum flow rate requirements to ensure optimal system performance.

    2. Pressure Adjustment

To modify the pressure settings, begin by lifting the knob of the pressure gauge. After that, turn the knob as described below:

Rotating the knob in a clockwise direction will cause the system pressure to rise incrementally and smoothly. On the other hand, rotating the knob counterclockwise will lead to a reduction in pressure.

As soon as the target pressure value is reached, stop turning the knob right away. Next, secure the knob tightly. This locking procedure is absolutely crucial. Omitting this step can give rise to possible leaks in the system, which might undermine its functionality and pose safety risks.

    3. Dial Reading

Make sure the pressure gauge is sturdily attached to the equipment's main body. When adjusting the pressure, it's vital to keep a close eye on the pressure gauge dial. Scrutinize the fluidity of the reading variations, carefully checking if the pressure values increase and decrease steadily without any hitches. If there are any anomalies, such as sudden fluctuations or unexpected jumps in the readings, immediate investigation and resolution are required. This is necessary to maintain accurate pressure measurements and ensure the system operates correctly.

    4. Drainage

The drainage column features an automated drainage mechanism. When there is no pressure in the system, the drainage column will automatically discharge the collected liquids. However, when air flow is passing through, the drainage column will seal shut to prevent compressed air from escaping.

It's extremely important to keep track of the water level inside the drainage system. Once the water level surpasses the maximum allowable level, immediate drainage is necessary.

Neglecting this can result in poor dehumidification performance, which may negatively impact the quality of the compressed air and the proper operation of the equipment.

The connector on the drain head is designed for attaching an air hose. This connector offers flexibility in setting up the drainage system, enabling users to connect the right hose for effective liquid removal. Moreover, users can remove the connector as per their specific operational needs, providing versatility for various installation and usage situations.

    Oil Adjustment and Refueling

    5. Oil Adjustment

To boost the oil absorption rate, turn the needle valve in the positive ("+") direction. On the contrary, turning the needle valve in the negative ("-") direction will slow down the oil absorption speed, and it might eventually bring the process to a halt.

    6. Refueling

Turn the refueling screw in a clockwise manner. While refueling, make sure that the amount of oil added does not exceed 80% of the oil bowl's capacity. Once the refueling is finished, it is crucial to fasten the refueling screw tightly. This step is necessary to avoid any possible oil spills and to keep the lubrication system functioning properly.
